We spent New Years in Fort Nelson. The year was 2021. Hard to believe we made it there. Drove 1697 kilometers, through blizzards and the snow to get there. A 1996 F150, two humans, and a dog that’ll turn 16 this year. Northern Canada. Where one is surrounded by night sky. People think it’s dark in the winter, but it’s not. It’s cold, it’s open, it’s white. And that wind’ll blow the life right into you. Two humans, and old dog, and a truck. God Bless.
