Fourth of July

A good day for a good lope in the evening on a Friday after work and before my dad did come visit. We go for a good lope, a great lope. And I love this horse.

After the rains and after work and my my dad did visit this small town. It is good and lovely and the horse is good and lovely as he often is, and we go for a good gallop bareback and free and good and safe.

The Reservoir and it is looking good. July 2 , 2024

Go to Mac in my work clothes. The velcro shoes from Teta Majda. Mac and I set out into the evening light. It was good, and grand, and good.

A Monday evening in the Monday evening light. Mac and I set out down the road. We tried a trot and comfortable it was not so we set out at a lope that turned to a gallop. A slow gallop, but a gallop nonetheless. And it was good, and fun, and exhilarating. Mac was very very good

Windy on the Western Front.

Drove out to Mac in the windy Wednesday light.
We rode out down the road as the crosswinds blew and it was a struggle just to keep my balance. We loped through the blow heading south and it was good and exhilarating. Mac tucked his head in and went, perhaps questioning my morals. We walked and loped again west to east, a good lope, the wind at our backs. And then again, around the bend and heading south. The crosswind so strong, I tucked just to keep my balance, and I did. And it was fun. We walked. Turned back and headed home.
